Xinyi Business District
Xinyi Planning Area is currently the most iconic and fashionable urban business district in Taipei City. The biggest feature of Xinyi Business District is that it is designed entirely for the leisure and shopping needs of urban residents. In addition, due to the low-density and low-volume development method, coupled with the deliberate management of the municipal government, a considerable amount of landscaping has been planned and set up, and the architectural styles of the department stores and corporate buildings located there are also unique.
In addition to the iconic Taipei World Trade Center and Taipei 101, there are many department stores and entertainment facilities in the surrounding area, such as Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi Place, Xinyi Vieshow Cinemas, Breeze Nanshan, Bellavita, Eslite Xinyi Flagship Store, etc. It is truly the first choice for shopping, leisure and entertainment.
Due to the presence of developed financial and commercial businesses and corporate headquarters, it is also known as the "Manhattan of Taipei". During weekends and holidays, the Xinyi business district is transformed into a super-large stage. The new stage at the City Hall Plaza and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi East Plaza often hosts various holiday activities or garden parties.

The atmosphere of the area, which is lined with department stores such as SOGO, Breeze Plaza, Eslite Dunhua, and Ming Yao, has attracted many boutiques from all over the world to move in, bringing prosperity to the East District business district. Whether it is sports brands mainly targeting young people or high-priced boutiques, they can also be seen at every intersection, and trendy brand stores and novel and creative food are also hidden in the alleys.
People dressed in fashionable attire can often be found shopping on the streets, making this the most fashionable and consumer-intensive commercial area in Taipei.

The name "Huashan" comes from the fact that this area was originally Kabayama Town in the Japanese era, and there is Kabayama Station nearby; the name "Kabayama" is to commemorate the first Governor of Taiwan, Kabayama Sukenori. It is also transforming towards the goal of "Creative Cultural Park". It has held many arts and cultural performances. Located between Ren'ai Road, Section 4 of Zhongxiao East Road, Guangfu South Road and Yixian Road in Xinyi District, Taipei City, it is close to Taipei 101, Xinyi Business District and Vieshow Cinemas. In order to commemorate the founding father of the Republic of China, Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall was built to enhance the characteristics of traditional Chinese architecture. The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall covers a vast area, and the beautiful scenery of greenery, lakes and buildings has become a landmark of Taipei.
The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is built in the style of a Chinese Tang Dynasty palace, surrounded by 14 large grey columns. The yellow roof is shaped like a roc spreading its wings. The Sun Yat-sen bronze statue in the entrance hall is the work of Master Chen Yifan. The military honor guard change every hour in front of the statue is a signature landscape. The hall is planned to have a "Great Hall", which is a large performance venue in China. In addition, there are also several art galleries, screening rooms, libraries, learning rooms, children's reading rooms, and newspaper reading rooms, which are open to the public all year round.
The "Zhongshan Park" outside the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and the "Green Lake" with lush greenery and swaying willows are one of the best places to enjoy the view of Taipei 101, making the entire Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall a green space in the Taipei metropolitan area.
